Contract Research Trial Management Program

Good protocol design helps answer the most important questions regarding product performance. Well designed protocols not only verify yield and ROI benefits, they also help answer the question of how products work. For example, foliar micronutrients can be supported by sap analysis data and in-furrow biology can be verified by rhizosphere DNA analysis, etc.

Products can perform differently in various environments and in various crops. We utilize a nation-wide network of high quality contract research organizations (CROs) to conduct field trials. We help identify and manage trial placement depending on desired crops and environments, or we can help identify those environments with greatest potential.

All field trial data from CROs is reviewed and analyzed by Stewardship Agronomy. Data is screened for outliers, statistical analysis is conducted and customized to the product type being trialed. If data is messy and highly variable, spatial analysis may be used to help understand the variability and draw some conclusions from what otherwise may be very poor data.
